Please note: References provided must be a company reference from your previous contractor/employer supervisor or manager. No Agency references please.
All references will be checked verbally.
Failure to provide legitimate reference information could delay approval of your application.
Any allegation of misconduct or deviation from the Sentinel Scheme Rules should be made in writing to the Accreditation Body and should set out the details of the misconduct alleged. Once the written allegation is received the Accreditation Body of the Sentinel Scheme shall consult with the nominated representatives in Network Rail and reach an agreement on the actions to take into investigating any allegation as soon as possible.
Upon receiving a report of misconduct a Sponsor should request that the competence, individual (card) or company is suspended pending an investigation into the reported misconduct.
The subsequent investigation should then recommend lifting of the suspension or withdrawal of the competence/card/licence.
Lifting of a suspension shall only be considered when the individual or organisation have demonstrated competence, including the examples of misconduct for the purpose of these Sentinel Scheme Rules include: (non-exhaustive list)
The Managers of the Sentinel Scheme shall be informed of the removal of the competence card and shall then notify the Sponsor of the person concerned.
